During the past months and years automated trading became more and more popular. There are endless products on the market claiming to make the owner rich quickly on complete autopilot.
The team at 4xProject, one of the leading review pages of automated trading sytems also called Expert Advisors started 4xMillion beginning of the year 2010.
The goal of the 4xMillion is to turn $1000 into $1 Million with automated forex trading robots on complete autopilot.
We don’t work an demo-accounts with virtual money. The whole project here is running with real money. This website will track the progress of this project you will be able to see the statements, the tools used and if you like to follow and reproduce our project you’re invited to.
Why Forex ?
Especially with low initial investments there are not many possibilities in the investment world. Do be able to to a proper diversification which is needed in traditional instruments like stocks it will require much more than $1000. Trading Forex (Currencies) has some big advantages:
A currency usually don’t lose all it’s value as it is not bound to a single company. The value of a currency reflects a whole country / economy.
The forex market has the biggest volume which makes the exchanges rates changing all the time giving a lot of trading opportunities.
As it’s an electronic market it can be traded from Sunday night until Friday night without any interruption.
The most common platform (Metatrader) allows the use of automated trading systems.
Retail Forex Brokers allow high leverage up to 1:500 which makes it possible to generate huge return on small moves of the under laying instrument.
Why automated trading ?
Most of us need to have a day job for their living. We can’t afford to quit our job to sit in front of a trading screen the whole day. And even to spend all our free time with manual trading is not an option for many of us as we have a family to care of and depending on the timezone we are in and our work schedule it may not fit the trading requirements.
We are aware the it’s much more likely to be able to achieve our financial goals with manual trading but this needs a lot of time, training and education to become a successful trader and you need enough initial equity if you want to trade for living which is not the case for most people out there.
Risk
Trading and especially margin based (leveraged) trading is risky but it’s an old wisdom that huge returns are not available risk free. The retail platform we use are limiting the risk in terms that we can’t lose more money then we have on the account. So the risk is limited to our initial investment and the operational costs we have. As always trading should be done only with money you can afford to loose and which will not affect your living standard in that case.
Is it possible ?
We believe that it is possible to generate consistent profit with automated forex trading and we have seen robots which do this. As the market does change over time no trading system will be profitable forever so we will need to replace our strategies over time to fit the the actual market conditions.
How long will it take ?
We don’t know if we will achieve the $1 Million goal but we are confident that we will outperform traditional investment’s.
Turning $1000 into $1 Million is a very big goal as we need to multiply our equity by factor 1000 or in other words to double our equity 10 times in a row. But let’s compare it to other investments like bonds, a savings account or even a pension fund. Does any of these investments give us a chance to do that at all ? Here a list how long it will take at different yearly profit rates %:
5% - 140 years
10% - 73 years
20% - 37 years
50% - 17 years
100% - 10 years
200% - 6.5 years
500% - 4 years
If we take into account that the best investment funds of the world ends in an average return of around 35% per year we don’t see a lot of options to achieve that goal with any other investment. And even if we only manage to double it or to multiply it by 10 that’s already worth it in our opinion. For sure it would be much faster to start with 10k or even 100k but most of you out there will be easily able to reproduce a 1k investment but not to risk 100k and if we are able the invest 100k or more then there are a lot of other investment possibilities out there but we want to show what is possible for common people like us !
